Carine Finals News for 2010

Congratulations to 17's Carine Cats for making it to the Grandfinal. Sunday 12 Sept 3pm - ground to be announced

Also for going through a season undefeated. What a great team effort.

15 Blue Comp: The 15 Carine Cats had a win against Sorrento Duncraig Hawks and are through to the Prelims.

Sunday 5 Sept 1pm at Barry Britton Reserve, Balga. They will be playing Kinsway Rockets.

14 Blue Comp: The 14 Carine Cats had a loss against Kingsley and are through to the Prelims.

Sunday 5 Sept 1pm at Percy Doyle Reserve, Sorrento. They will be playing Kinsway Rockets.

2010 Jordan King - Auskick

2010 Jordan King - AFL Auskick

Jordan King plays Auskick for Carine Football Club in the Wildcats team (Yr 3s group on Sunday mornings).He was lucky enough to be chosen as the Round 13 Nominee for NAB Auskicker of the Year and will be going to the AFL Grandfinal in September as a representative of Carine Auskick.Jordon spent weekend in Melbourne, where he attended the Fremantle v Carlton game at Etihad Stadium. He played the half-time Auskick grid game and was then interviewed by Channel 10 and appeared on the game telecast just prior to the start of the third quarter. Jordan and his mum had a fantastic time away! The Auskick volunteers could not have been more welcoming or helpful and Jordan was definitely given the star treatment!! He will fly over to Melbourne again for Grandfinal week and gets to participate in the parade and even presents one of the Premiership medals to a winning playerat the end of the game! We are all so excited at the prospect and most grateful for the opportunity!

At seasons end all committee positions will become vacant. We are now recruiting for new people to be a part of the committee for 2011.
If you, or someone you know, has a desire to contribute to the growth and development of the Carine JFC then this is the opportunity to have your ideas put forward.
All current positions are listed under Our Club - Committee to the left of this notice. In addition to these positions we will be looking for a Auskick Registrar.
If you have any questions as to what is involved with each role please feel free to ring the relevant person for that position.

2010 The Pink Game

2010 Pink Game
On Friday 7th May Carine Junior Football Club mothers show commitment and support for Breast Cancer Research

Carine JFC members Liz Marsh, Glenys Walsh and Shelley Ockelford (13 Cougars) were at the Pink Game at the MCG on Friday 7 May. The photo shows the group, including Melbourne friends on the ground. Deirdre Macdonald of Carine is also in the photo. The Pink Game raises money and heightens awareness of Breast Cancer, affecting both women and men.
