Parents and members are invited to join us at the Carine Clubrooms at 6:30pm on Wednesday, 28 October for our Annual General Meeting. We ask each team to have at least three representatives attend, helping ensure all areas of our club community have a voice in shaping the year ahead.

As we prepare for 2027, we’re looking for members of our community who would like to lend their skills, experience and ideas as part of the Carine JFC Committee.

All committee positions are declared vacant at the AGM each year, providing an opportunity for existing members to continue and for new people to get involved. This year, we are particularly seeking a new Vice President, Auskick Coordinator, Sponsorship Coordinator, and Merchandise Coordinator, as current volunteers step away from these roles.

Joining the committee doesn’t need to mean making an indefinite commitment. Many volunteers contribute for a season or several years while their family is part of Carine, before naturally handing their role on as their circumstances change or their children progress through the club. Roles can also be shared where appropriate, and outgoing committee members are available to help new volunteers settle in and ensure a smooth transition.

Every committee role plays an important part in keeping Carine JFC running effectively, and filling each position is essential to delivering the programs, events and experiences our players and families enjoy each season. Whether you have professional skills to contribute, experience from elsewhere, or simply the enthusiasm to get involved, there are plenty of ways to make a meaningful contribution.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the 2026 committee members for their tremendous efforts, especially the following departing members:

1. Misty McLaren – Sponsorship Coordinator
Misty is stepping down after two fantastic years as Sponsorship Coordinator. We sincerely thank her for the time and effort she has dedicated to building and supporting the club’s sponsor relationships during her time in the role.

2. Tamara Maddock – Auskick Coordinator
After a fantastic year coordinating our Auskick program, Tamara is stepping away from the role. We thank her for the energy and commitment she has given to creating a great experience for our youngest players and their families.

3. Adrian Day – Merchandise Coordinator
Adrian is stepping down as Merchandise Coordinator after many years of contribution to Carine JFC. We are incredibly grateful for the considerable time and effort he has generously given to the club over the years.

4. Craig Groth – Vice President
After many years of contribution to Carine JFC, including his extensive involvement as Property Manager, Craig is stepping down as Vice President. We sincerely thank him for everything he has contributed to the club over the years.
